How does one defeat the Sanctuary Guardian

Well what's your build? If it's a close combat one then make sure your always ready to roll and when it's about to do it's combo non-stop attack that involves moving forward and hitting with its paws then run away from it in a straight line. The hardest part if that boss is cutting it's tail. The rest is an easy boss fight in my opinion.

P.S. after you kill the boss after him try going back where the guardian was. There'll be surprise waiting for you.

I don't think you'll be able to solo the last boss of the DLC or the dragon boss there either cause they are hell spammers. Don't say you weren't warned.

With a katana or a heavy weapon you can destroy that kitty, bleed works like a charm and the boss itself staggers quite easily, just be sure to roll

This boss is the easiest of the DLC, but I remember completing my first playthrough entirely offline, and it's very doable, dodging>shield for this fight.

Actually, i solo-ed all the DLC, SL around 79, defeating in One try Artorias, Manus and Sanctuary Guardian, got problems in Kalameet, tough. Pretty Easy in my opinion, but It was great
