If you died the first time, go back in, again to the armor place, i think you must have it equiped for him to do the limb thing again.
The exploit only works if you survive the first time. Which I imagine the OP didn't if they're writing this.
I'd go back to up to Firelink and then go to Sen's Fortress (the place in the cutscene after ringing the second bell) after talking to your new friend at Firelink.
The trick is to trigger the move he uses the arm, isn't it? The one he puts the arm inside himself and then pounds the ground... it's an annoying fight.
When you pick up the armour, he will turn hostile and as this happens his first attack is to spray lava over the ledge.
You need to walk back the way you came (towards him) slowly until he finishes this move.
After the lava disappears, book it to the fog gate.
When you get to the fog gate - because the boss has nowhere to stand - he will jump and hang on to the ledge you are currently standing on.
To your left (if you're looking at the boss) he has a tentacle-like limb stuck into the ground.
You need to hit this six or more times to cause the boss to lose his grip and fall, resulting in his death.
imo the chese abuse is nice for underleveled chars or if u need to save time or simply enjoy doing that sort of things. But u do miss some basic DKS combat training...
Go back to the altar where you picked the armor up. He takes the limb out of his chest. Go back to the fog door. Done.
but can't you call it "cheese"?
Well you can. I do it too. I wouldn't have said anything, if everyone would have called it a cheese. But some called it a glitch.
But it isn't a cheese by definition. A cheese is usually an exploit of an accidental weakspot in the AI. The Ceaseless Discharge weakspot on the other hand is developer intended.
So its not a "real" cheese. But I'm nitpicking on defintions here.
