Once you grab the armor, he will do an animation where he detaches one limb (wait for it to be over, if it hits you with it it's a 1 hit kill) then run all the way to the fog door and wait for it to follow you.

If you died the first time, go back in, again to the armor place, i think you must have it equiped for him to do the limb thing again.

The exploit only works if you survive the first time. Which I imagine the OP didn't if they're writing this.
You can wait and fight him later, the armor is really the only thing of use now, unless you're specifically wanting a chaos weapon as soon as possible.

I'd go back to up to Firelink and then go to Sen's Fortress (the place in the cutscene after ringing the second bell) after talking to your new friend at Firelink.

It works multiple times, i've done it before, it does it again if you go back to where the corpse is, i think it's somewhat RNG dependant as sometimes it spamsa normal attack, other times does it agains and another time it did it once i equiped the armor.

The trick is to trigger the move he uses the arm, isn't it? The one he puts the arm inside himself and then pounds the ground... it's an annoying fight.

you will never be able to defeat molten man, unless he keeps his hand there

If you cannot get the glitch to work anymore, you can do it by running to the crevice (there is a safe spot), sticking your head out to bait his slam (just dodge it), hack at his arm until he moves away again, then rinse and repeat

One runs to the fog gate (assuming you want to kill him the easy way).

When you pick up the armour, he will turn hostile and as this happens his first attack is to spray lava over the ledge.

You need to walk back the way you came (towards him) slowly until he finishes this move.
After the lava disappears, book it to the fog gate.

When you get to the fog gate - because the boss has nowhere to stand - he will jump and hang on to the ledge you are currently standing on.

To your left (if you're looking at the boss) he has a tentacle-like limb stuck into the ground.
You need to hit this six or more times to cause the boss to lose his grip and fall, resulting in his death.

similar to hydra - get close to avoid ranged attack, dodge his slow attacks, unlock to hit limbs

imo the chese abuse is nice for underleveled chars or if u need to save time or simply enjoy doing that sort of things. But u do miss some basic DKS combat training...

is that a dunkey referance?

You can still cheese him after the initial encounter. Aggro him and run back.

Not true. I was doing SL1 and was going to do the ceaseless cheese, but messed up and got blasted to death. After a few more deaths, I ran back to where you grab the armor, waited for ceaseless to get there, and then ran back and it worked.

The amount of people still thinking, that this is a cheese or glitch is surprising. Why does he have a unique animation for the leap and for his death? It was clearly intended to work that way.

Go back to the altar where you picked the armor up. He takes the limb out of his chest. Go back to the fog door. Done.

no glitch that's right
but can't you call it "cheese"?

Well you can. I do it too. I wouldn't have said anything, if everyone would have called it a cheese. But some called it a glitch.

But it isn't a cheese by definition. A cheese is usually an exploit of an accidental weakspot in the AI. The Ceaseless Discharge weakspot on the other hand is developer intended.

So its not a "real" cheese. But I'm nitpicking on defintions here.
