I'm looking at purchasing this and if I run in to the same thing I did with other titles the fix was to locate the XNA .NET folders in C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Assemblies/GAC_32 and GAC_MSIL and change the Owner in the Advanced Security properties to be Administrator for these directories and all their subdirectories (there is a tick box for this when changing owner)
Good luck with getting it working!
Later I found out that it might be her graphic card which is an ATI one. On her brother's computer, which has a Nvidia card it worked flawlessly.
I suspect that it might be Nvidia's PhysiX technique ATI graphic cards are not supporting obviously. Do you have one aswell?
Edit: Her brother uses 64bit as well fyi.
Yes Windows 7 and I do have an ATI card. This worked perfectly and the game is now running!!
Many thanks!!

This fixed it for me
