So...I get this BS about being "Disconnected From Server" when I am not in any server at all. I can't proceed with the story...

Just try to putting all settings to minimum and load your save file, it works. Then, save the game and revert all settings back to maximum. Enjoy!

The fix for Out Of Memory and Disconnected from the server for me was to only set the Texture Resolution from Maximum to Minimum.
When the level finally loaded, I went into the settings and put it on Maximum again. Voila. Repeat whenever it happens. No need to dial everything down.

Thanks bro, that works for me in the "disconnected from the server" of the cap 5 in Perseus Mandate.

This post is nearly 10 years old, what the is wrong with you, how bored and starved for attention are you?

I don't play these games on a server, so obviously I wasn't cheating...I don't even think the servers were even still a thing when I was playing this.
