Generic corridor shooter

Youtubers oversold this game due to visuals. It's meh at best.

Mullet Mad Jack's reviews are glamorous yet they fail to touch up on key points such as gameplay variety and undercooked mechanics such as wall running, which if you played for more than a few minutes can notice is completely redundant as there is not a single tile which you can't cross with a well timed jump/dash.

The unimaginative approach to level design plagues this game as behind it all is a really solid core yet the developer insists that this is because this is an arcade game and not because they failed to deliver on that end.

While it is true that once you're in game it has a BETA tag which is rather easy to miss, this hasn't been communicated anywhere on the store page at the time of my purchase.

Since my opinion was called invalid for not finishing the game at the time, I have since finished the game on challanging and I'm currently on chapter 60 on HARD which I've filmed it in it's entirety and will upload once I finish it. Furthermore, I will finish the permadeath mode so that my opinion is automatically more valid than anyone else's opinion since that's how this forum's general consensus operates.

I have a lot of thoughts on this game but this isn't review.

I'd not admit to being a goon.. that's just my opinion.. maybe it means something else these days but usually in the 1980's hiring goons just meant generic fool's.

I expected the game to offer interesting power-ups so you can create awesome synergies. That's what makes the repetition in roguelites fresh and interesting, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

it's a on rails rng shooter not vampire surviviors. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1978590/Anger_Foot/ anger foot might do things diff but the pace and play of mullet is more like hyper fast arcade shooter with rng map elements.

i love it i kind of want aim to be slightly less auto aimy maybe a slider for 3-5 autoaim sensitivity options. im sure some intense types would love either a complete manual aim or points for accuracy for score and speed lovers. just some ideas the game is what 2024 needed. this and hades 2 is just early christmas for gamers. :D

Have to agree with OP on this one. Complete lack of upgrade variety, repetitive gameplay loop, mediocre story, and its only about 2.5 hours long. This game should be 5 dollars max, the only things I have going for this game is the art style and music.
