Still doesn't change the fact that he is one of the best reviewers of new and indie FPS games. I don't always agree with his reviews, and sometimes I am in complete disagreement with him, but one 'bad review' doesn't suddenly erase his credibility across the board. He has a lot to say and is very knowledgeable about FPS/boomer shooters, and for very good reasons more people are likely to check out his review on youtube than your insane troll thread on steam message boards.

If it was just a bad review due to his personal >authentic< opinion I wouldn't even care that much.

If you are stating these claims as facts and can't provide some proof that he got paid by them to make that review, then yes you're insane. There isn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in terms of substantive evidence. If there is, post it, I'll wait. That's right, you can't, because there isn't.

man just because you don't like starfield and he does doesn't mean he loses all of his credibility over it. only if he were to have lied about being paid off (which, i don't think has happened), but otherwise overall his opinions are pretty consistant with the types of games he likes, and this is pretty much a game that is straight up his alley, so he would love it

I just prefer to go off of definitive proof rather than baseless ramble, but thats my personal opinion. just like it was his personal opinion to like the game, which is good for him

People, even reviewers, are allowed to have a different opinion than yours. I have zero interest in playing Starfield myself regardless of what gmanlives had to say of it. I am enjoying Mullet Mad Jack however. That's because I am capable of thinking for myself and form my own opinions and can live with the fact that others will have different opinions than mine. Try it some time.

I'm a huge boomer shooter fan. Gmanlives praised Boltgun. I actually ended up hating Boltgun and thought the level design was trash. Do I blame Gmanlives? No, that would be insane. I disagree with the opinions of Gmanlives frequently, but I still enjoy his videos because they are entertaining and bring discussion/exposure to games that are mostly ignored by gaming reviewers (I'm not talking about Starfield, I'm talking about the majority of what he reviews, which is boomer shooters and other indie FPS games).
