If you sell goods at the square where Van shows up, what is the best time of day for that?

As the other person said, it’s best to wait for Van if you’re looking to maximize profits. If you want to increase friendship points with specific villagers, then open the stall when people are in the area and give them discounts.

Id only recommend using your shop to sell things you dont need/want to people on discount on busy days. this way you make some pocket change and increase friendship with ppl.

big big sells are 100% worth waiting for van days so you can haggle for that 20% extra profit. not to mention he often has new things to buy so you can make that money when you need it for better financial investments.

As someone who likes to open the shop to pass time, chat with villagers and sell stuff casually---- I found the best time to be in the early morning when everyone is headed to work/running, and in the evening around like...5 or 6? Molly will go down to the inn around then, and if you stay open late you can get others coming home from work or going to the bar.

Other than that, the morning van opens is another great time. That seems to be everyones day off/shopping day. Sebastian and the others come down from the mansion, and sometimes vesta comes around then too. Then I close right as he's walking up and sell the rest to him.
