Dig Site - Annoying Fact

Is it just me or is it really frustrating when both Carter and Flora walk around and block the tile you're digging? I'm losing so much time when they do this and every time I switch to a different tile, that's exactly where they're walking to again. Wish they'd just stay put or at least stay out of the way.

i hate this too, and sometimes it wastes my time digging in mine.

It's definitely annoying! It becomes less of an issue as the mine expands and there are more spaces safely away from them in the middle

It expanded next year after you got the stone tablet. Limited to only one stone tablet each year,

Yeah, can confirm I'm now in Year 2 and it's a lot better now that the site is bigger. Thanks folks!

They are not only walking around but showing you when the gold is! Carter will kneel next to a gold hole and while he is walking watch where he looks and dig at that spot. If you find artifacts continue to dig and the next more than likely will be gold. Also look for the 3 close gold dots in a triangle in the holes first they will have to gold. and when digging if you find anything else stop and go to another until those dots appear. You find at least dig less artifacts.

Here's a trick that always work when Flora or Carter are near the hole you're digging and block you : I turn my back at them so I'm not looking at them, but the opposite side and I walk slowly to the hole. I can dig every hole even if they are on it when I do that.
