Horse health?

I put my horse out to pasture when it's not raining, and feed it fodder when it's raining. I comfort it and talk to it daily, and brush it. However, according to the board my horse's health is PLUMMETING. This doesn't seem right, is it bugged?

When you first got your horse the health will be lower, but as you take good care of it will get to normal. Keep it inside on rainy days and make sure eats twice a day. You can give food by hand and also horse love apple.

might be a bug, i leave my animals outside 24/7 and they are all healthy

Riding the horse can influence your kid in ranching a little bit, but also is pretty convenient in getting around a lot faster than in foot. You can also expand your barn, it's not cheap, but still.
