The path next to Vesta's farm?

Hey!
I only played for a full day ingame, and as i explored, i remembered about the path next to Vesta's farm. If i remember correctly, in the GC version, it was to connect to the GBA games. But in this version, when i tried going, it said something like going to the city, it takes 6 hours.
Did anyone try it? I'm curious about it, but i don't really wanna lose 6 hours if nothing interesting happens!

Seems it just let you skip time for 6 hours and that's it, probably for times like when you don't have anything to do and want to skip the day for certain events.

The notes imply you can find things in town, though I've yet to have anything happen the few times I've used it.

I was wondering the same thing, like is there any merit to wasting 6 hrs a day for absolutely nothing I feel like if they weren't going to utilize the area they should have just gotten rid of any interaction with it.

It will also add some stamina/hunger/energy depending on the text I believe. It is very negligible though.

It's pretty much flavor text and a time skip option for when you want it to be later in the day, but can't be bothered to wait.

Fun fact: it's implied in the text that you're visiting Mineral Town, since it references different parts of it (like mentioning another farm or you resting in some hot springs). I think it's a nice nod to the original function of that path tbh

It would have been cool if they could have incorporated that if you say own the other SOS remake on the same platform

A bit of a missed oppertunity. I never got to go down that path on the GC, it would have been nice to see what happens or have some approximation of what used to happen.
