It bums me out a little that I pre-ordered this game, was completely pumped to play it, and I feel like I've spent an hour fussing with the controls. Anyone else dealing with this? Maybe I'm just not savvy enough, lol.

Feel free to give me some control settings advice that might make it less annoying.

I have the same problem too. Controls are so weird, loses my appetite to play the game. I am honestly thinking of refunding the game.

Same here! I've been excited for this game, I purchased the add on outfits, and I feel like I have to fight to play it, lol. It feels so unnatural. I think it was designed to thrive on the switch, sadly.

Bad decision for them to put this on steam, if they can't port it properly. Also, I feel nauseous when playing the game, because mouse sensitivity is too high, had to lowered at a lowest settings but its not enough. I already requested a refund. It's a shame and very disappointing.

Glad I didn’t preorder. Get a refund while you can, unless you want to hold out hope that they’ll update the game later to make binding keys easier.

I already did. I am a fan of their games, but this one doesn't sit well with me. I am 1 hour in the game, and pre-ordered it. Hopefully I get the refund.

This doesn't really help you at all, but for what it's worth I haven't had any issues with the controls on a controller.

I know that's not really a solution, but if you have access to a controller then I'd recommend trying that out! Here's hoping a patch comes out soon to help the K+M players though.

I have access on the controller, but I prefer to play with mouse and keyboard. It's not the only controls I am having problems with, probably most of you guys are playing for nostalgia, I bought the game hoping it will be better than the original one since its a remake. It's just too many flaws that stuck with me while playing this game, that's why I requested a refund.

The problem is some people (like me) can't hold controllers, they need to fix mouse controls or I will have to refund

Anybody having any luck making the controls feel less painful on keyboard? If it’s such a bad port that playing on keyboard is a hassle, I’ll have to pass on purchasing. Let me know how it’s going for you.

What specific complaints do you have about the keyboard and mouse controls? I used them for a bit and didn't really have any complains, except maybe remapping interact to Space.

i just need to find the remapping settings, i managed to open them once but after i haven't been able to figure out how to pull up the settings. honestly i came on to this thread thinking that someone would have posted a way to. but honestly it's turned from looking fro help thread to a ♥♥♥♥♥ about things we don't like about an 10+ year old ported game that was barley a 2gig game. so if anyone has real advice on how to pull up settings that would be appreciated.
