I wanted to make a central bug thread so you all know what we're working on and what information we need when you email us about any game bugs you encounter. We'll be trying to scour the threads for new issues, but if a bug is not up here already please post it in this thread so it'll be easy for us to find. We'd like to keep this thread focused on addressing gameplay issues, so for any questions or comments on other topics, please email [e-mail].

  It would be from "STORY OF SEASONS A Wonderful Life.exe"

Here are some tips to make sure you're getting the best performance out of your PC!

• Make sure your graphics card is being fully utilized:
  
  • Stay updated with relevant drivers from your card manufacturer's website
    
  • Make sure you are using your main graphics card. Different graphics card manufacturers will have guides on how to always use your dedicated card.
• Add STORY OF SEASONS A Wonderful Life to the exceptions of any antivirus program:
  
  • "STORY OF SEASONS A Wonderful Life.exe" is the executable file you need to add.
• Turn off any power saving mode your computer might be using:
  
  • Go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options
    
  • Balanced or High Performance profiles should be chosen. Any Power Saving mode will lower game performance.
    
  • If you are using a laptop, make sure it has sufficient charge or it may automatically go into a power saving mode.
• Make sure your PC has the latest Windows Update installed.

If your game launches in Japanese:

1. Press Play and choose the "Launch Configuration Tool" option to open up the game's launcher
   
2. In the last section of the launcher, click the dropdown list for the option marked "言語" and choose your language from there! It will be the second-to-last option overall.

using brush it's not bug actually.. in remake version, using brush its mean grooming them too, that's why the wash animation will pop up when you brush the animals. also you can brush them everywhere without wash basin.

Issue with character creation. I am unable to get through the character creation. I get up to naming my character and enter the name but cannot confirm and finish the character creation. I can only close the game.

Press Enter to exit the text box, then select the button as usual

Can't use Caps Lock in character creation and dog naming, seems Caps Lock doesn't work at all in the game. Thankfully there's a quick workaround for this; type somewhere of your desire name and copy (Ctrl+c) & paste (Ctrl+p) the name to the box. Hopefully this fix soon.

It defaults to 720p in fullscreen and despite my monitor being capable of 1080p and 2k only 1920x1080 appears as the highest resolution and it changes nothing in fullscreen.

Having some issues with getting the seasonal DLC outfits to show up. I bought the DLC today. It’s definitely showing up in my Steam library. But it’s not showing in my dresser

you can also use shift and then the letter you're trying to type and it'll turn it into caps

Borderless Fullscreen mode has no black bars on ultrawide resolutions. It just shows the windows that are behind it on the sides.

idk if i just can't find it, but it doesn't seem like there's a way to delete save files? i accidentally made a copy of my save on the third slot and want to delete it so it's just the first slot occupied :(.

A quicker workaround: Press Shift and type at the same time.

The savedata is in your appdata folder. Use the windows run menu and type %appdata% in the folder that shows up find the folder called SOSAWL and the save data is there.

I have restarted it several times. No changes to the resolution maximum and no changes to fullscreen. Still locked at 720p

i've deleted the save file from the folder but it just keeps regenerating it every time the game loads so i don't think it's possible atm :(
