As I understood it when I first went online when it came out for fear 3 there were plenty of people. After 3 years pass since I played online again I notice a decline of players making to search for a lobby harder. I pick a game mode and went in. If my memory surves me right(been ages since) the search will find those who're a match or a game just waits for people.
Either way I will test it again to fully answer your question good sir. =)
EDIT: Quick play mode works. The rest doesn't so one has to figure out the ip address or ports to link up so others can join. I have no expereince when doing this just know certain things has to be in order for it to work.
Thanks for your answer. Still as of now I can't find any games with quick match, but I'm sure it's because there's none or they are all full.
To be fair Fear 3 wasn't supposed to be this heavy of action when battling. When a bigger company or in this case an monopoly size company takes over they will take a lot of stuff out and use their own style in most cases ruins the game. The series and sagas that follows will be nullfied this make it so all the hard work with bridging trust with players is gone. The only thing they care about is greed of money and the rule of thumb shows they will do any means to get that money. When a company behaves like this it's fair for the players to call it trash because what they get is trash half bake pie. In most cases a pie that isn't cook.
COD is a game series where the heavy use of action of their style is in every game that the company who made it taken over other companies who can not stand up to them. They cash out and player base is for the wolves. The pratice of milk every worth to the player base by removing what was already there.
The fear series was suppose to have half sci fi horror and half action. Mad scientist/government cover up is the theme where the combat is the task force that deals with the outbreak. Monolith made the first and second game of fear along with the expansions. Fear 3 wasn't made by them. Another example is the game Halo all 3 games ended to the story. More games made not by Bungine bring up the story but the problem with that is story contradict itself that's why bring up ended stories have to be handle with care.
In the end there's only some or few handful that owns everything meaning what we players see is an illusion of what we see like the stars in the sky that died away long ago but the light is there for us to see.
