Weird brush distortion that only appears in-game, no errors found
I was working on a map in Hammer when I (fast) compiled it and saw that some of the new brushes I made were distorted. Specifically I was making a barbed-wire fence (where the wires were one whole brush and each fence post was another). A face of some of the posts would be stretched out into a wide rectangle and small segments of the brushes next to it would be invisible.

Everything appears normal in Hammer, and when I press Alt+P it says no errors were found. Sometimes I can fix the problem by deleting the distorted brush and replacing it with a new one, but sometimes that doesn't work - the distortion appears just like it did before. I've encountered this problem in the past and I've posted a couple screenshots recently to show what I'm talking about.

Which ever brush it is, delete and recreate it. It's a fairly common error. It is usually is a result of using carve or vertex manipulation.

Yeah I've just been trying that until it works, but sometimes it takes a few tries.
