Unable To load filesystem_steam.dll for source sdk Base :<
Okay so Everytime I try to go into The Hidden Source I get This Msg "unable to load c:\Programfiles\steam\steamapps\My profile Name\Source SDK base\Filesystem.dll

I have tried everything
-Uninstalling the game
-Restarting steam
-Restarting my computer
-deleting the file
-Renaming it
-EVERYTHING IN THE BOOKS

I am at the brink of giving up on this and I really want to play The Hidden with my Buddies
the problem started 1 day ago and the game worked the day before.
So yeah HAS ANYONE BEEN HAVING THIS PROBLEM I DON`T WANT TO BE ALONE.
And DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THIS?????
I am at the brink of giving up on this!!!!!

Is it a new update that is causing this??? cuz I rember updating the day before this happened

I don't know what SDK Base Hidden runs on but I suggest you launch the base game at least once. I'm guessing its on Source SDK Base 2006 so make sure you've started that game at least once.

I did Still same problem I start the game I get that same MSG :< does anyone else have this problem?

Could you paste the gameinfo.txt located in the folder for the mod?

Odd. Everything should work if Source SDK Base 2006 is installed correctly and launched once.

I got the same problem
I just uninstalled the SDK Base 2006 and started The Hidden Source, then i could play one match after that, i got the Steam Validation Rejected error :/. Deleted the blob file then the same error with the SDK file appeared.
