'Materials' folder
Hello! I come again with another problem. If I want to create a custom texture in Valve Hammer Editor, I know I must put the two files .vmt, .vtf in my 'materials' folder in /cstrike, but I couldn't find the folder. So I created it and I put them in there, but VHE just doesn't see them. I use VHE 3.4 if it helps.
Thank you!

Are you working with Counter-Strike 1.6?

Yes
EDIT: If I refresh my Steam files, do you think it will work?

You must create a folder named my_custom_stuff and put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\custom
In that folder you must create the subfolders materials, models and sound. Put your custom textures in Materials subfolder.

It seems in my /cstrike folder I already have models and sound, but they are not in any material folder, they are simply located there. Should I create a folder as you said and move the models, sound and create a materials folder in there?

You must create the folder and subfolders in CUSTOM as I said, and put in it your custom textures. No need to move the existent textures, in my opinion.

Counter-Strike 1.6 is a GoldSrc game, it doesn't use materials. You'll have to create a .wad file and include it in the map.

That. Use Wally to import custom textures to a .wad or create a new one.

OP didn't specify the game, but it became obvious it was GoldSrc when he said 'I use VHE 3.4'.
In fact, I was wondering what the hell was that program... :steamhappy:

Thank you all for advices!
I see also that I don't have any prop_ classes, and I want to create a little forrest in my map. Any suggestions? :D

EDIT: One more question. How other players should see the .wad textures if they don't have the map? The textures I created are downloading from the map when they join it? Or I have to put them in the map with Pakrat?

GoldSrc mostly uses brushes. You could always use the cycler entity to place your models.
