Hammer Texture Browser icons not working

I have this problem with the texture browser when ever i open it some of the texture icons only show up black this is really annoying and i would like to fix it any suggestions?

Maybe those texture's vmt have a wrong path? Which game are you mapping for? Are you attempt to use standard or custom textures? Do you see black or chessboard miniatures?

CS Go and the path is right i checked the textures work for the most part

You mean you can use the texture, see them in hammer, but you don't see the miniatures?

There is a guide here on Steam, that gives you a new Gameinfo.txt's version, with a lot of new information to put it. That text file is available only for Half Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Episode Two.

Really common with updated versions of Hammer, your only choice is to close and reopen the texture browser.
