HELP WIN32:evo-gen[susp]
Avast detected a virus while i was downloading Source SDK. The file name is Elementviewer.exe and the folder name is steamapps/downloading/211/bin/. I am sure it is a false positive scince it is steam but you never know.

Source SDK doesnt even work anymore anyway.

Use hammer.exe in the bin folder of your game.

Source SDK doesn't even work anymore, even for mods. And even if it did, it is deprecated and highly recommended to use Source SDK Base 2013.

That looks like a generic signature, so it's very likely a false positive. Some parts of Source, like the file compression and encryption utilities work a lot like the parts of malware that hide the actual malicious payload, so virus scanner tend to go off on those.
