Hammer skybox not working properly
I am making a map in hammer but i have a sky box problem
On the inside its like this:

And on the outside:

As soon as i launch the game and go into the map everything is invisible nothing is their, i delete the skybox everything appears but theres no skybox :/

I can select the skybox from the outside of the map, but not the inside of the map in hammer- Its like its completely invisible on the inside

I am also kind of new to map making so anything would help!

I couldnt find anything online myself. So please tell me how to fix this or put a link on a forum or something :/

Draw the sky cube with nodraw texture, make it hollow and then texture only the inner faces with the tool_sky texture. Be sure you have a sky texture set in the map properties menu. Dont forget to put a light_environment, set according to the used skybox. Your skybox is solid, not hollow!

I strongly suggest you, if you are new to mapping, to read and study some good tutorial, to learn the basic. Here some useful link to bookmark:

Actually, make the 6 skybox brushes' faces with tools/toolskybox texture.

Thanks for the help [B.n.B] AlcyToronto and speedvoltage, but i figured it out - i put a box around it and made it hollow and it worked - thanks anyway :P

but how do i make it hollow again?

What do you mean? Build the nodrawed cube, select it and make it hollow by Tools menu, then texture only the inside faces with tools/toolsskybox.
