How do you play co-op on 1.11

yep tried everything with the co op mod, Hamachi seem to detect it but when friend joins there is just black screen. Not only it would help me but others just looking for a 2 player co op experience. Unless the version is broken beyond repair. I only see version 1.08 servers hosted from a webpage.

Yea makes no sense that the game is completely blocked online on steam, guess nobody should be buying this steam version at all and should go with gog instead.

Extreme lack of information, no online fix, all cause they had to make it a newer version, except it rolled it back and made online impossible. Really terrible port of a great game, sad..

So can anyone confirm that the steam version is completely blocked? Some help on this would be really cool. Even confirmation that the online is totally broken on steam would be nice...

I'm not sure about the Online Co-op mod, from once-upon-a-time ago. But I know the online multiplayer server's are working and online. I just rekt 29 players/bots(?) just a minute ago. So the servers seem to be working at least.

I don't care for pvp at all in any game, I wanna play co-op. I dislike owning real people, I don't feed on conflict, I have no desire to be better than anyone, and I don't wanna fight friends. I want to work together with friends against evil. That's the whole reason I wanted to own this.

If there is a way to make co-op work on steam that would be very helpful.

Also there is a severe lack of information on this game, and getting it to work online. The co-op mod seemed to shut down all online modes including dm which I've tested. I looked into it and i read its cause this is version something something, and the co-op one is an older version steam eliminated for achievements (terrible business practices).

All anyone said on co-op was buy the gog version so I guess I'll have to buy this game twice. What a frickin headache. And man I get everyone loves fighting each other in this world, but I really get sick of the industry pushing fight each other and looking at co-op as a secondary. Its pretty much how all gaming is..

This is exactly why I stick to sp games and don't even mess with online anything. Especially the big names on steam cause all they are is pwn people for dlc and gun skins. Co-op is pretty much locked in rpgs and some shooters (god bless quake1/2 remastered). But as for co-op platformer where is one? This game gave me high hopes I was gonna get to actually play a mario slasher with a friend.

I seriously hope someone figures out the co-op and how to make it work on steam and saves me 10$. Makes no sense for a publisher to actually take away features in a new version, and only add some useless achievements, most of which we have to unlock with bots and nobody is actually playing that competitively they just open up bots for the blip. They need to fix co-op, either some modders or the publishers themselves game never even goes on sell so they want full price. But they won't make it good, they made it worse than the previous version. I'd rather not have achievements if its gonna make a dead online co-op the very reason I wanted this.

Hey, has anyone figured out how to get the co-op thing to work via steam? I've got friends that are not comfortable with GoG (can't blame them there) and only use steam - I'd like for us to buy and play this together, but really need to verify that Steam co-op works first.
