Report a translation problem
If that's the same dark graphics issue I experienced in Unreal Tournament with (I think) the Direct 3D renderer, then I think that switching graphics renderer from D3D to OpenGL (or mive it was the other way around) fixed it for me in UT99.
Also, downloading an updated rendered dll from this page fixed some display issues:
