I am Arachnophobic but i very love this game. I heard about patch that may fix spiders to pigs, but can't find it anywhere. Help, if you have link of something that can help me.

What error? Does the download do not work (works for me) or does the file not fixes what it should?

The new vpk file system broke any gcf-based mods, which in Dark Messiah's case is basically all of them.

To the OP, I've found in my speedrunning play that you can actually skip the vast majority of spiders in the game. The first section of caverns in the Temple of the Spider can be avoided by proper timing to just jump the gap in the collapsing tunnel as it collapses. The large pit can be escaped quickly without fighting them. The spiders up in the cliffside caves can be avoided by using the rope bow and a running jump to get to the next house. The spiders at the top of the elevator do need to be fought, as do the spiders in the catacombs. The spiders above the cyclops cave can be avoided by simply climbing up the wall with the rope bow, above the tunnel you used to enter the cyclops cave. The spiders in the large pit with water at the bottom can be avoided by simply triggering the water to go up. Last of all, the pit with the giant spider is entirely optional.

i click "download". Then there's 5 seconds waiting. After that 5 seconds download isn't starting and i have just an error on a empty page.

If that is true -and i guess you're right, i haven't tested that- i strongly encourage anyone who loves the game to buy the retail version, if they haven't already.

I have a little arachnophobia too, but that is why I love spiders in games, one of the few kinds of enemies that that actually are scary to me. I find the spiders in Skyrim to be far worse than in this game, I dont get too freaked when Im in a cave with webs all around because that kind of fore-shadowing allows me to prepare for them, but in Skyrim when wander about the forest near Riften and ambushed by multiple spiders nearly twice your size or in the northwest where you get the frost spiders, Ive jumped up a bit in my seat more than few times from that. And how freaky are the ones you see hunting animals along the riverside.

The gamefront mods are all no longer downloadable and are only found mirrored on some other sites. These mods don't work anymore, like Zahr previously stated. :(

They still work on the retail version of the game.
The retail version is also a total fix for any issue with the Steam version! Buy it and install it standalone (the singleplayer that is).

I have arachnophobia myself,but honestly,it's a game.The spiders aren't real,they don't even seem real,most spiders in games don't seem real;only some overall realistic games.My advice here is to simply get over your arachnophobia to some extent.After all,you have to;the world is full of spiders.It's truly impossible to completely avoid them.

I can't find the patch anywhere.. and the dropbox link posted here doesn't work anymore.. does anyone has it?

I tried to walkthrough by running and jumping without looking to the screen, but it's kind of hard.. so, some pigs would be really nice!

As already said, that mod doesn't work anymore on the converted Steam version. It only works on the retail version.
