Habe es Retail gekauft.
Steam Version = Uncut
Before i do something stupid: If i remove my german version of the game now from my steam account and then buy it again here on Steam... will the game definitely be uncut or do i need to use some proxy tricks to get an uncut version?
Hey Neawoulf,
Did you purchase your original copy from Steam too?
As if so, we wouldn't be able to guarantee your re-purchase would be uncut as we have no information to confirm the German region Steam version was changed.
Hopefully someone from the community can confirm this too though.

Nope, bought a retail version on disk many, many years ago. It's a german + english Ubisoft Exclusive version, apparently published by the german company Rondomedia.
If someone knows more it would be great, otherwise i might just try and risk it once the game is on sale again.
Or since it's just 5 EUR, i might just do it now.
I see, thanks for clarifying!
As you're using a CD copy, based on these responses the Steam version should be un-cut.
As above, we haven't been made aware of any changes to the Steam version so there's no reason why it should be any different from the time these previous posts were made.
Unfortunately we don't have access to a German region Steam version to confirm this for you, but please do let us know how you get on!

Little update: Apparently it didn't work. i Removed the game from my Steam account, bought it again about 30 minutes later on Steam (together with Arx Fatalis), but at least in the prologue it looks like it's still the cut version.
