Game crashes while loading

Can't load last save files. The game crashes to the desktop at the end of the loading screen. I have saves that open just fine, but they are like three hours earlier. Tried reinstalling the game, but it didn't help. Is there a way to solve this problem?

Use these launch options: -datacachesize "128" -heapsize 1048576 -novid
Play around with graphics settings: lower GFX detail, check other options.

Unfortunately, it didn't help.
These saves have black thumbnails, unlike the saves that work, which have screenshot thumbnails.
Is there a way to check if the save file is corrupted?

I don't think there is a way to check them. I guess you will have to play the game from the working save file. Did you do anything with the corrupted save files in any way? Modding, editing configs, etc?

Nope, just played the game. Then it crashed, which happened before, but this time I couldn't load these last three save files. Which is weird.

There is a way to get some crash dumps, but if you don't care about it, that's okay. That way, there might be a reason or a solution to your issue.
