you can rush this game on normal in 7 hours
full exploration on hardcore(reccomended) is 30ish hours.

Just finished this game in 11 hours on Hard, I didn't rush at all, I played normally. I can't imagine how could you play one playthrough in 30 hours, you can finish this game two or even three times in 30 hours. For me "exploring" every corner and trashcan in the game makes the playing boring and unrealistic, in real life you never would do the same thing, also there isn't much to explore anyway, some extra mana/hp pots here and there which you get enough anyway. For me the best playing experience is when there is good flow, not when you stop to look every corner for 30min. Back in the time I used to play in "exploring" way and also trying not to waste any good weapons or items, but then I realised it's just obessive behaving which takes all the fun out of playing, now I play games without trying to explore them 100% but move and act with good flow and I have much more better experience than ever before.

hard =/= hardcore. hardcore is a LOT tougher which will have you reloading a lot more. also theres some choices in the game which can make some people replay it a couple of times (to see the different endings and whatnot)

It was my second time playing it (played it when it was first released and I pirated it so it was good to buy it now), but I always choose to purge the devil woman from my head, as she is so annoying.
