After that i deleted the launch parameters and Messiah still works:
-width 1920 -height 1080 -dxlevel 90 -heapsize 2097152 -novid +datacachesize "128"
-novid +map_background none +datacachesize "128" +map_background none
I played the game many times, but atm it's refusing to launch for some reason. Which is irritating, they don't make games like this any more. Awoved came out recently and it's a downright flacid game compared to this.
EDIT: Put -ignoredxsupportcfg -novid +datacachesize "128" -heapsize 2097152 -autoconfig into launch command and it got into menu.
EDIT 2: I even had to apply the 4gb patch so the game doesn't crash if I put the settings too high. And who wants to play on medium, without the HD textures mod.
Objectively speaking, the exe definitely needs to be modified to work on 64-bit systems
So no pig slop none of that bs
