Missing Hammer

So I'm at the 2nd forge in the game and I've finally got the metal to make the earthfire sword, only one problem... There is no hammer. Am I missing something here? Or is it just random and the hammer might spawn when I restart the map?

I always have one hammer in my pocket :-) The hammer must be somewhere out there. If only this is not a bug.

I also have a hard time finding that hammer every damn time! I always find it eventually though... I don't remember where, it's been too long :P

Turns out that there is an orc in there that holds the hammer and drops it when he dies/notices you, so it can be almost anywhere on the ground.

know im very late but there is a hammer when your chasing the ghoul right on the left before the door to the rooftops chase
