Apparently it's a ddraw.dll problem but he doesn't go into much detail.
"All I had to do was install as admin and rename the ddraw.dll."
Hope this helps.
"I have installed the solo campaign of DMMM and it wont start properly on launch. I have to kill the mm.exe then relaunch the game and it works. Once i have ended to play i have a rundll.exe:gameux.dll that runs wild on one CPU core and have to kill it."
Third possible solution:
"Adding -w 1280 -h 720 to the launch options fixed it for me"
Sorry to hear that you have been having trouble playing the game.
If this is persisting then I would recommend to complete the steps in our pc troubleshooting guide[www.ubisoft.com] in full to configure your device for the game.
Any trouble, just let us know.
