Why is this not VR yet?

we are in 2020, Half Life Alyx was fairly above average compared to other games.

This game seems like it was made for VR to begin with. So, why not.

Its not like Buggysoft has anything better going on right now anyways

I recommend Blade & Sorcery it has a lot of elements of this game though it is early access and is really just arena combat right now

game was written in souce 1 if i remember right.
souce 2 has been out for a time now. HL alyx is made on S2.

all i see and hear are excuses why not to reboot the game

I feel like the spiders in VR would be too much to handle... for me, anyway. Still, that's an awesome idea. Just ah... GOOD GOD NO NOT THE SPIDERS.

Blade and Sorcery is pretty much that.
It even looks the same and has spikes you can kick people into.

Yes I also wanted it so long...and I mean HL2 got the VR mod, they could basically kind of do the same for Dark Messiah, having the same engine? Melee with the crowbar in HL2 works well, so Dark Messiah can't be that much harder.

The game was ahead of its time. No one thought about VR back then. We can only hope for a restart using Source 2 and virtual reality.

It's Half-Life 2 VR (semi) official mod over here and works perfectly, so VR for Dark Messiah should be technically possible
