Low FPS?
This is an old game and my pc can run games like Doom 2016 and Dark Souls 3 so i was expecting to easily get a constant 60fps.
Is this a common problem?

You should check your games settings, also what's your computer's config?

This is my set up -
GTX 970
AMD FX 6300
8 GB of RAM

The game runs badly even with everything set to low.

I found some launch options which seem to be helping a lot.
-novid -heapsize 1048576 +fps_max 60

Weird enough, i get 170+FPS at max with
GT 740
AMD FX 6300
8GB RAM
Basically, i get more fps than you with a lesser config, might be because of the 60FPS max you set, check if you have V-sync enabled.

I've been googlling for a fix and it seems that a lot of people have had problems with it down the years.
Really weird as Source games can run on a toaster lol.

I'll try turning V sync off to see if it makes a difference.

This isn't a normal source game, it was made by ubisoft. They never released their source code or something (main reason its mod support was so low and multiplayer died)
