crash fix?
Getting crashes everytime I play, sometimes I play for hours before a crash, other times it's like 15 or 20 minutes. Anyone know whats up?

Same problem. So far no fix.

Compatibility mod is not helping.

I also have the same problem. It always seems to be during combat for me. It was also during a loading screen once.

I really hope there is some sort of fix. Looked online several times and I haven't found anything. I really love the game, but the constant crashing is starting to get to me.

Most effective crash fix is setting gfx detail to medium. There is no visual difference, and high is bugged beyond repair.

You'll still get some, once in a while, the closer you are to the end of the game, the more you get. Still, not every 5 minutes, as with high gfx deatail.

Same here, on chapter 4, right during the load screen.
For me, I disabled the HDR option at the video => advanced. After loading, I switched back to HDR.

If you have nvidia geforce experience , which allows you to capture gameplay footage, you can disable it to reduce crashes. And lowering gfx on medium is also a good idea.

Jesus just got this game and crashed as I was starting chapter 1... sigh... I have a 1070 with 32gb ram in my laptop... I will try to scale it back to med settings. It played the tutorial section very nicely, then crash.
