BLR is no longer owned by Hardsuit Labs

Hardsuit Labs has owned the rights to Blacklight: Retribution since 2015.
Today I noticed that their website states, that they do no longer own BLR.
I assume they sold it? Means whoever baught it, might have plans for a new Blacklight game?

Yeah they were acquired by Keyword Studios almost two years ago in 2023, but there hasn't been much mention of anything since this happened.

It would be nice if Keyword gave the Hardsuit guys a green light for a new Blacklight game, but that being said the F2P market is really tough lately. With the closing of XDefiant, and just yesterday Spectre Divide announcement that they're closing the game within 30 days (after starting in September).
No matter what, I hope the best for the guys at Hardsuit Labs in whatever they end up doing for Keyword. I guess I'll just keep playing Blacklight Retribution on the weekends in scheduled Discord events until they do something with the franchise.🤷

I pass by this game often, and although I didnt have thousands of hours, it was one of my favorite shooters. I do hope something is done with the title.
