Regardless, this was a game I had a lot of fun with for a long time. Shame it couldn't continue.
^^ PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN. I WILL HOST A SERVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't say I'm surprised by the news, just disappointed with the outcome. Then again the game had a good what, six years of running (I consider the last two as just "the end"). Maybe we'll get something again in the future; either way, had fun in the game when I did and got the most out of it.
Same here
Now this could be an option.. It shouldn't take too much for them to release a patch or update for the game and the DLCs that will remove the dedicated server proprietaries and install console type support that will allow p2p. That's a very logical and should be feasible option for sure!
