Patching Error - Something to Try

Problem: Images in the patcher appear misaligned or do not appear at all.
Solution: Make sure you have run Windows Update and Internet Explorer is completely up to date.

Problem: "Error 5: The filespec is not loaded"
Solution: Close the patcher, delete the \Blacklight Retribution\Live\.patch folder, then restart the patcher.

Problem: "Error 36: A file was locked that could not be open for writing"
Solution: Make sure you have enough disk space in the location that you are patching the game.

I don't know what's causing any patching problems, I just try and find some things that some people have done and got it to work.
