Hey guys small update here!

There have been some small changes to the landscape in this update. Some slight rework in some areas. Swapped out some of the tree models which should provide some performance improvements.

I have also changed up some of the town homes with ones that have interiors on them. They aren't enterable now but will be in a later update that will come along with the NPC update that is coming soon.

I have added an enemy spawner at the center of the map. The spawning book will act as the framework for testing out new enemy types that is going to be added in the next update. It will allow you to just jump right in and test new features as they come along.

Some minor Changes:
-Increased the spawn rate of animals so that you will see more of them spread along the map
-Added random encounters along the map for the swordsman enemy type class
-Swordsman enemy now has a random loot drop chance
-Reworked some of the terrain to allow for easier sliding
-Added head relative rotation to the hip weapon slots

This is just a little update for now. Some People were having issues with the settings book when using non oculus devices, I currently do not own another headset outside of my quest 2 so there might be some growing pains with non oculus users until I get my hands on some other devices.

In the meantime I added a settings menu right at the start of the intro area so you don't have to go through anything if you need to change something right from the start.

I also added a setting for a grab offset so you can control the angle of your grip of your weapon to suit your own preferences.

Also while I work out the settings book to be easier to use for all devices I have made it so you can just throw the settings book on the ground and the settings menu will pop up for you to use instead.

Some minor bug fixes:
-Fixed an issue with the collider for the lid on the treasure chests not being enabled
-Fixed and exploit where the player could get infinite money by spawning in items in the merchant shop and sliding them into the sell barrel ːsteamhappyː

Game Release Today?

Hello everyone!
I was looking forward to releasing today but I'm not sure if it looks like it will happen or not. I'm unfortunately still waiting on steam to approve the build. My fingers are crossed for today but I am not entirely confident it will happen. The build is ready for you guys to start playing as soon as I get a response back from steam. Believe me, I know this is super annoying! I have been working really hard on this and have been really excited for you guys to play it, so I ask you to please be patient as the game release is just around the corner.

So in the meantime here is some more details on what to expect for content that you will get on release!

Explore the open world to find treasures hidden throughout the world.
Hit the top of the treasure chest with your hand to open it to see what is inside.
Grab your backpack from over your shoulder to store your newly discovered treasure inside.
Continue on your journey or return to the merchant to sell your items.
Careful though, if you die you will drop all the items from your backpack and will have to return to the spot you died to collect them back again.

When you are ready to sell the treasure that you have discovered on your journey, return back to town to sell it for gold at the merchants shop.

You can use that gold to purchase new weapons and magical items to use on your journey. Grab one of the item books that is laying down on the counter of the merchant shop. Flip through the pages to get a look at the selection of items that are available for purchase.

Use the hookshot to get to hard to reach places with ease

Use these new abilities to get an edge against your enemies in combat

Dev makes it really hard to trust them

Once again, the game hangs on the same "coming soon" message until the developer delays it again by another 30 days. Dev doesn't post any news, doesn't check the forums, doesn't post on his twitter, doesn't post on itch.io. What is the deal with this game? Is there even any reason to trust that the dev will listen to any feedback or even finish the game? This is literally everything that an early access game shouldn't be....
