So I've been tearing through the net for years now concerning content from the first aid edition, but I think I can give you an idea of the differences.
The initial release came with most of the content except some of the content wasn't officially added or mentioned. Once CODENAME RED released, this content was added, bugs were fixed, and it was the first release on steam! This was v1.1 Codename Red.
The First Aid Edition is where I myself can't get over missing out on some digital content... It was a MUCH more expensive ($50 I think) and limited offer version of the game that came with the original soundtrack, some sort of cards or concept art(?) I think those were physical items... and finally, a 3d spinoff of sorts called Lone Survivor 3D. Jasper mentioned that he wanted to release it down the line as freeware, but I have yet to see it myself and am desparately looking for it... as impossible as it seems at this point... Looks fun no matter how small or incomplete it may (or may not) have been. Can't find any youtube videos or any other coverage on the game besides this link and another page linked within..............

Finally, we have the Directors Cut... It's the final version that adds more content, new vissual effects with the flashlight and lighting, and some more bug fixes!
Hope this helps and sorry for my rambling...
