Heads-up for those of you looking to buy the game

This game was originally called "Mirror 2: Project Z" and the developer was "KAGAMI WORKS"/"KAGAMI II WORKS". The developer, who self-publishes their game, changed the game name and developer/publisher information multiple times recently. Following a major backlash from players and kickstarter backers because of their latest announcements on the game "Mirror 2". You can check them at the announcement section for said game.

In short, they said the game would be a "sequel" to the original Mirror game - which was a game with 18+ content. Go check their Kickstarter questions page. They never denied that the game will have 18+ content.

Ok, let's say it's our fault for having high hopes for something they never explicitly mentioned. Once they announced the game would be 16+ only without any explicit content, they went almost completely silent. Their "touchy" announcement was released on Steam only, not even in their Discord server - Backers are in the Discord server, don't you suppose they deserve an explanation?

Now they changed the game's name and their studio name back and forth. They clearly want to appear as someone else. Check the record at steamdb. Records don't lie.

I am not saying this game will be bad. I am just trying to remind everyone who are going to consider supporting this game, know that any promises made may not deliver at the end. That the game itself may be different from what they originally advertised. They said they want to be like CDPR, they did the false advertising part, I hope they also come back with actually quality games.

leah has actually a ♥♥♥♥♥. (still seeable when you know how to) so they had intension of that somewhere when they made Mirror X. dunno where it was lost though. you only have intel why that is, when your in the dev team anyway.

a korean game also got banned shortly after i bought it on steam. included a short sex scene (pixelated) and depression. for whatever reasons it got banned. International guides for releasing games sucks.

This third party refund system must only apply to people who get keys via kickstarter or elsewhere surely? As refunds should be handled by Steam. If they have found a way to not refund people who bought a game through Steam unless you use a third party site which Steam is not involved in then I think you should be less telling people not to buy the game and more trying to make Steam aware so they can investigate the developer

People who get keys via kickstarter are not paying anything, so the third party refund website is definitely targeting people who bought the game on steam. Steam only allowed refund on a game played less than 2 hours within 2 weeks from the date you bought. People bought the game months ago before they threw the 16+ claim letter in our face. I don't think it's wrong to stop people from supporting a dev that illegally collecting personal information through fake refund third party website, which mind you no one seems to be getting the refunds anyway.

I knew this game looked suspiciously similar to something I have seen before. Anything related to these guys and there projects should be avoided. Looks like they got bad rep and are trying to cover themselves under a new name.

I don't think it "aimed at moral degeneration of the western societies" when even in China, boomers complain about the exploding popularity of anime ♥♥♥♥ that CN devs keep producing. Blame Japan for starting that trend.
