Not in my experience, and in the experience of my collegues in our IT department. /shrug
ah, the good ole "You disagree with me, you must be a troll" tactic -.-
Clearly you do not understand programming, configurations, and myriad of other things. There is a reason why so many linux software only officially support certain distros of Linux, but I highly doubt you can understand the reason why. Anybody who has true understanding of Operating systems, programming, ect will understand why.
Next time try to use the word "Troll" properly, not everyone who disagrees with you is trolling.
Plus teh whole thing about libraries in Linux is also a moot point, as there are many ways you can get away and support any possible distribution (given a "minimum" set of system and software stack requirements), sure it does involve careful coding (and building... especially linking ) and certainly proper[/b] debugging, which is obvious wasn't the case here...

Been procrastinating updating to Fedora 20, but will do so if that fixes this.

runs like a champ for me at 720p on 9800GT with nvidia blob. though window manager varies. and oss drivers were complete bust on my test machine 6450 was running 2-3fps
did a little testing with wine apps since this and witcher is more or less the same effect with larger gap since it scales and now i can kinda say how they rate. the only one i didn't install was kde. also, when game doesn't use real full screen gaps are way larger
