I am at the end of chapter 2 and somehow the game is not saving for me. I am playing with steam cloud disabled. I also deleted the old saves from the folder and it still does not work. If I want to finish the game I have to do it in one go because the game is not saving. Any ideas?...

Yesterday i ran into the well known save file bloat problem that causes the game to crash when tying to save the game. I've bought TW3 on sale, but I really want to finish TW2 first, but the game combat is horrible and frustrating. You fight battles on 1V5 and with some minions on the map, and you die every time because they hit you from all directions, even when you're rolling or blocking.
