Lighting issues
Has anybody else had an issue with the lighting effects in single player? There are two things im mainly looking at here one is a mission where your following your brother through the stadium and he's holding a flare its lit but its not projecting light onto the walls or anything. another is when you use the strobe attatchment when your taking out a room of people the strobe flashes yet it doesnt project light onto anything rendering the wrest of the map completely pitch black with no way of seeing the enemy. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this and knows of a fix?

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. Pretty unforgivable. I'm not running strange hardware, here. Testing, anyone?

I've only had the strobe flashing with white squares on that one jungle map with the waterfalls and water.

Same problem. Also at the end of the mission in the stadium, there's supposed to be a dramatic moment when they're talking to Ajax while he's illuminated by a flashlight, but the lighting itself isn't visible (only the glow sprite effect) so you can't really see him :(

thats what i was talking about thats the same mission where you follow him with the flare its so dissapointing because i could only imagine how awesome those lighting effects would actually be

The fix is to go into your "config.cfg" file located in:
\\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Ghosts\players2

Open the file in notepad and search for "r_dlightLimit"

Chances are it'll be listed as
r_dlightLimit "0"

Change the the 0 to 4 (for up to 4 dynamic lights, which was the standard/high setting from previous CoDs) and everything should work fine :)

Thank you very much! Any explanation why its zero? I even tried to delete this config file but it was still zero in new one... Had to fix it by my hand.

Any chance that there are some other options turned off?
