Is it safe to use cheat engine with extinction solo?

Even solo? I want to do it because there are HARDLY anyone playing Extinction online. I want to at least have fun playing by myself.

I can't see why they would ban anyone for cheating/modding on the solo champaign mode. That is the stupiest thing I've hard sense gamers are athletes.

Is Multiplayer an own game like in MW3? If yes, then you could use, because normaly just MP is VACed ...

IIRC, both extinction and multiplayer are in one game. Problem is, I have to be connected to play extinction solo. That's why I'm hesitant to use cheat engine even for a solo session.

Extinction is part of the multi-player menu, so I think you're correct. However, the MP game has an adjustable FOV slider. It only goes to 80, though, but it's much better than the 65 default. If you use a cheat FOV on MP, you'll be banned (see first PINNED post in General Discussions).

So, what I understand from your post is that ANY use of the Cheat Engine program in this game will get me banned? Even for solo extinction? I don't care about MP because I never play online anyway.

BTW, I won't use CE for messing with FoV. I'll just use it for other things like ammo or points...
