I cant sign in GFWL

I have tried to sign in GFWL several times in game,but it says Can't sign in. The Windows Live ID or password you entered is not valid. Enter your information and sign in again.Code: 80048821

But I can sign in on GFWL's website,does anyone know how to get it?Live ID and password are correct but can't sign in on game.

Are you with the most updated GFWL? Well, that works for me perfectly.

Finally got somewhere with this guys :) go offline on steam then load operation racoon city offline.it will prompt u have to sign in but do it on res menu live sign in.type in ure live.email and password and it will update.finally playing this ;)

not to necro. but this's one of my favorite games. updated to win10 last night and it doesnt work. it isn't my virus scanner and i installed GWFL but it doesn't seem to work anymore. and it doesn't attach to the new xbox it looks like. any ideas? was dying to try this on my new hardware.

Yes there is. Where do you actually get GFWL now? That link goes to a Win10 marketplace link now... Note that I've been setting up / playing REORC for years, but freshly under Win10 in the last few days. The game won't even launch now to get far enough to load GFWL. Disabled virus protection and no-go. What am I missing?

Just follow that guide i put up there. And the link to the new version of gfwl is here in this guide.

So your gonna want to to remove the previous versions of live, install new one, delete settings.dat in documents folder for game and then login to your live id in game. It will download update and then ask you to restart to confirm update, finish that and then restart game again and sign in. Should work then. I did this the other day and was able to play online and start game.
