Yeah, my problem was that something managed to not trigger properly. I think it may have screwed a few things up. In my case, the mysterious man never showed up and Raymond never returned like he
was supposed to. The kid gave me his message but he wasn't in the house (upstairs or down). I had to resort to loading a save from the end of chapter one. That "fixed" it.
