Will this game run on my Laptop?
Hey since Witcher 1 is only avaible for PC and not xBox I want to know if I can play this game on my laptop. I want to be able to play it at least on low-medium or medium graphics.

My specs:
Intel Core i3-380M
AMD Radeon HD 6370M
4GB DDR3 RAM

it should do it ran on my laptop which is fairly crappy, i think only big difference is i had 6gb of ram on it and the cpu was probabaly a little better (it was an amd) not too sure though

Why can't I find the xbox version then? I googled it and looked it up on amazon and ebay.
I only found the PC version. Also wikipedia says too that the witcher 1 is only avaible for PC and Mac.

i guess it was... oh well, the game was designed around PC anyways, and you can mod the PC version so who cares?

I do, because I only have a laptop and therefore want to know if I can run this game on my laptop.

\it may, on the lower settings if you don't mind the game looking like a PS2 era game.

With your specs, it should run, although with mobile versions of the graphics cards one can never be entirely sure. Pitty, that you did not pick up the game during the sales, for less than 4 Euro/Dollar/? there is not much lost, if it does not work. I also have a weak version of the HD 6xxx, be sure to turn of anti aliasing, otherwise it will run very slow.

Your laptop can run it but you will have to do a trick with the a shortcut to get it to work. With newer tech the game doesnt register you meeting the requirements so you have to make a shortcut that doesnt force requirements. Go to the third post on this link.

weird I thought the enhanced edition already ironed the system requirements issue out - the only time I got the message was when I tried on sweetfx but thats another issue...

its also easier to put "-dontForceMinReqs" in the witcher properties under launch options bear in mind any who need it; it also seems to disable texture options from previous experience :/

trivia - the witcher 1 has never been on the xbox - the white wolf port was scrapped mid-dev
