The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

Just how long is this?
I've been playing for around 45 hours now and i'm only at the end of chapter 3. I have barely done any sidequests at all. How long should I expect to be playing?

Most players report 30-40 hours.

You must be doing something they're not.

Are you doing all the sidequests? I'm not even through chapter 2, and I've run into a ton of sidequests. Other players seem to disregard them after a while.

Chapter 2 did seem to take ages.....hopefully chapters 4 and 5 are shorter.

I haven't done any of those billboard outside the inn type quests. Maybe some of these quests i'm thinking are important to the story are skippable or something
I'm in Chapter 2, and after doing it for like 4 hours im finally saying ♥♥♥♥ the investigation and doing the swamp. I'm at like 12 hours total. Chapter 2 is absurd in length. Please tell me other chapters are shorter. Fun game though, hated the combat at first but it's grown on me.

So let me get this right. You are playing a game just to finish it?Not for fun? If a game only takes 5 hours to finish everybody is complaining about how short it is and that it sucks but if another game takes +30 hours and has replayability everybody is complaining?Again? Make up your minds will you? I love the game and absolutely love that it's not ending really quickly.

It took me 34 hours (according to steam) doing every quest I came across (including all of the monster contracts). I have no idea how you could have so many hours by chapter 3 without doing side quests.

Damn 45 hours is a dream game for me.

I'm about the same. I do agree that your number of hours by chapter 3 is pretty high.

So stop playing. You definitely don't play the game for pleasure or else you wouldn't count the hours spent in it.Try playing Solitaire or Tetris. They end really quickly and i heard that they give you far more satisfaction than The Witcher.

Yeah, I just hit the 8 hour mark after finishing the first chapter and I was like "Wow. This is going to be lengthy."

i've got about 30 hours logged on this game and i'm a bit of a ways into chapter 3. i've done a few sidequests but not a ton of them either; this game is pretty long imo

41 hours in, in chapter 5 now, I did most of the side quests where possible (there are some collection quests you cant do if you don't pick up the right books/scrolls)

I hate the chapter 2. It's buggy like hell, very long and boring for me. The best chapter is the chapter 4. Looks like amazing.
