Old Friend of Mine quest..possible bug with missing Pickles and Lard

Ok i'm at the part of the quest where i'm drinking upstaris with everyone and Zoltan says he's hungry and I should go gather some food. When I go downstairs to check there is only 1 cabinet which only has a torch in it and nothing else. Once the old hag see's me she kicks me out because I'm drunk and can't get back in....I have been at this an hour i'm getting really sick of this quest that are bugged or broken!!

I know this is a very old post. But just in case anyone else runs around like a nut (like I just did) and cannot figure it out. If you have already looted the house these items are already in your quest inventory, not your regular inventory. Doh

Ok, This is really old, but nothing newer comes along on google search, so it's still where people will end up when they search for this issue:

If you have already looted everything in Granny's house (like i'd done) the items are going to be in your QUEST inventory.

You just need to get out of the house and back in, and whichever guest you've brought to the party will find you with a cut-scene just as you enter through the door and complete the quest.

(Don't bother going somewhere to sleep to get rid of your dizziness, after the cut-scene you'll be just as drunk automatically).

This just helped me in September 2024. I was sent to go downstairs, and without going talked to Zoltan again, and it proceeded to Dandelion singing. Thanks guys!
