Is there a save game option after the credits roll?

I heard that if you play Witcher 2, it will take your choices from a save game of Witcher 1. But I can't seem to get to a save game option after the credits roll. So the last saved game is in the courtyard, before I speak to Dandelion.

Any luck with that? Had the same question.

It worked out ok. When I started Witcher 2, I was able to import that last saved game I had. It's almost not worth much, though. You get toned down versions of some of your best loot. Meh.
