How do I get Geralt to walk?

Well, after some google'n the answer is he can't unless you switch to isometric view and move with the mouse pointer (which is something I dont want to do).

I find this extremely annoying and almost game breaking. I play an RPG to get absorbed in the atmosphere and immerse myself in the game. I'd like to walk into a village and soak up the atmosphere and the scenery instead of running around like an idiot.

Even Morrowind gave me the option to walk or run by holding down the shift key with a toggle if I remember correctly.

This game may be great but I just can't get past the inability to walk. Very frustrating.

there's a mod to do that... look in the nexus mod page...

I've never used nexus mod, only the steam workshop which is extremely simple to install. Might have to give it a try. Thanks.

Here's a link... don't use it myself, but modding the witcher is really easy... just drop in the override folder...

This one is from the forums, but in the nexus you'll find some game fixes for various parts of the game...
