I´m in the middle of chapter 2 (of 5) and stand at 17 hours. So its a quite long game.
Witcher 2 ist far shorter ,around 25-30 hours. And Witcher 3 goes up to 150 - 200 hours if you do every side quest and hunt available.
Although, I must say I really don't like the combat system in TW compared to TW2, its horrible. Everything else is fine though.
Maybe without side missions and in easy mode, you could manage to get through it 25-30 hours.
Whatever, do not expect this game to be anywhere near as a short one.
I haven't noticed much carried over though, other than the G'valchir.. is there anything else I should have noticed other than my actions from the first game (I mean items-wise).
