Mac Saved Game Files

Hey everyone. I have been trying to play The Witcher for so long now it's laughable. I primarily used it on my iMac then I moved to a friends laptop while in college. Each time I have had to start over because of the saved game files. I had to totally restore my iMac when I got home and now I have no idea where to put my backed up files.

I placed the saved game files in User/Library/com.cdprojektred.TheWitcher/saves but they aren't showing up in game. I have another back up of the SteamApps/common folder as well. Can anyone tell me why they aren't showign up in game? I would rather not play this game by starting over for the 3rd time.

Any help appreciated!

i can't find 'com.cdprojectktred.thewitcher' anywhere on my mac. any help?

I can't find this file anywhere either. It's June 2016, I cannot figure out how to simply find a save file on this SH1T MAC from 2015.

You should go to the /Library inside your computer "username" folder which is hidden by default.

First open Finder, click cmd+shift+G and type /Users/"username"/Library
Then you can find the folder from here

The full location looks like this:
/Users/"username"/Library/Application Support/com.cdprojektred.TheWitcher/GameDocuments/The Witcher

It's probably been a fair while now, but you'll find it by opening finder, clicking the the "Go" menu on the top bar, holding command so that the "Library" option pops up, clicking that library option, then scrolling down to the aforementioned folder.

After hours, I finally could solve the problem. You just have to follow the instructions to the letter.
